No-Fly-Zones

Authorities appointed by the ILT(e.g. police, fire department, military, ILT, LVNL, Eurocontrol, etc.) can log into our UTM and appoint static as well as dynamic No-Fly-Zones. This is possible for several altitudes. A Natura2000 manager can appoint No-Fly-Zones at an attitude of 0 to 40 meter, for a period between 1-3-2020 and 22-5-2020, at a geographical spot with the coödinates ... This can be enforces for every drone, except the ones carrying an AED. Or with the exception of drones that make little to no noise (gliders).

Another example: There has been a serious accident. The police and other first responders can appoint a dynamic No-Fly-Zone for all drones, At an attitude of 0 and 50 meter, with a radius of 1 km around the accident, for a period of 3 hours.

Extra addition

In addition to all the required elements our UTM had the ability to take into account the wishes of land and real-estate owners pertaining drones flying above their property. The law says you own the 20 meters above your property. In our UTM you can log in and state your wishes on what you would and would not like about your property. Some examples:

1) All drones are allowed to pass by, but not those with a camera in the visual spectrum and the noise level cannot go above 60 dB. The maximum speed is 15 m/s.

2) Above our garden only delivery drones are allowed to fly and these can also drop their packages.

3) My garden can be used as a VTOL spot in emergencies. The drone owner can collect their drone and cargo against a €x,xx payment within 30 days.

All kinds of combinations are possible. The sky is the limit!

No-Fly-Zones

Within our UTM all kinds of No-Fly-Zones can be defined and we give real-time advice to drone pilots, or later with U3 or U4 redirect drones ourselves, as to not fly illegally.

No-Fly_Zones do not go all the way op to space, but can be defined within certian altitudes. For example, but up to the ILT or LVNL: A delivery drone can fly up to 40 meter in the landing route of a plane. However not ... sec before or after a plane is flying there. This is possible by connecting to ATM system.

Remote ID

Drones will have to carry a RemoteID on board in order to make everything fly smoothly. The RemoteID will not only transmit real-time GNSS coördinates, but also enact commands from out UTM. We are currently working on this technology and expect a prototype in april. This techonlogy can very easily be implemented into new to be CE certified drones or added to existing drones. We are trying to achieve an accuracy of about 50 cm. However drones from a specific class can get an accuracy of 5 cm using RTK technology.
